My practice is concentrated in the area of tax planning and compliance for individuals and their small businesses. Before starting my firm in 1987, I was a tax manager at the large international accounting firm of KPMG where my clients ranged from large corporations to individuals. My accounting degree is from Loyola College. Community and professional activities include membership in the American Institute of CPA's (Tax Division) and Maryland Association of CPA's where I served on the Quality Higher Education Committee and was past Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee. For several years, I was a part-time seminar presenter & adjunct faculty member of Towson University where I taught small business courses. I am a past President of the non-profit Jubilee Baltimore, Inc., past Vice Chair of the Board of Managers of the Towson Family YMCA, and President of the Six on the Boardwalk Condominium Association. I am an Eagle Scout and former Boy Scout leader. I live in northern Baltimore County with my wife and her horses.
